Supta Buddha Konasana Lying-Down Bound Angle Ah...my own personal freeway to enlightenment. Start in Savasana, then bend the knees and bring up the arms. When I'm on vacation at the ranch, I can usually be found doing a little SBK. Ah...I do love this pose. And I'm getting pretty close to enlightenment too. When Hurricane Katrina hit, and FEMA chief Brown burst in on my practice and yelled, "Sir, we have an emergency," I was 94% enlightened. "Brownie," I said...heh, heh, I call him Brownie. "Brownine, can't you see I'm busy here? Let's just get back to them in a couple of days." Tips: If your groin is tight, do not push your knees to the floor. This will only harden the groin (as it will your belly and lower back). Instead, imagine your knees floating up towards the ceiling and continue settling your groin deeper into your pelvis. As your groin drops toward the floor, so will your knees. Use a blanket under your thighs if you need support.
